Positioning

To position your sensor properly, you must define:

A position where the sensor is aligned with the X, Y and Z axes of the asset;
Choose the side of the sensor to be attached, so that the sensor nameplate is visible.

Attention: positioning of the receivers

The positioning of the Smart Receiver is also crucial for the positioning of the sensors connected to it and should be done following the specifications:

Ensure that there are electrical connections near the installation location, as the receiver requires external power supply;
DO NOT install the Smart Receiver inside metal electrical panels, as they can block the receiver signal;
The receiver accepts a MAXIMUM distance of 50 meters from each connected sensor;
The receiver can communicate with a maximum of 30 devices, depending on the plant's topology;

Within the platform, there is an online support tool with a team of engineers ready to assist with any questions that may arise during the use of TracOS™. To use it, simply access the "Support" tab in the upper right corner and send your question to the support team.

1.2 Notifications

The notifications received in the mobile and web versions of the application can be configured according to the "How to configure notifications" module in this manual.

After selecting what type of notifications you want to receive, they will appear in the main menu tab in the upper right corner, allowing you to take the necessary actions for each one.

Notifications will remain pending until they are read and opened.

How to insert and customize charts in Insights

On the platform's main menu, select the "Insights" tab. Then, choose the asset and the period that will be analyzed.

In the example below, the asset is Refiner No. 1, and the defined period is the last 30 days.

Click on the "Charts" button. Then, select the variables and types of charts you want to observe.

In addition to speed and acceleration, you can also observe charts for temperature, hour meter, and estimated consumption.

Click on the gear icon to access the chart settings. You can enable/disable the insertion of insights, events, and tooltips. It is also possible to define the scale of the charts.

Floorplans are the best way to easily monitor many assets and provide visual management that brings context to all team members.

On the platform, you can create a floorplan that shows the status of all your monitored equipment.

Creating a floorplan:

On the top bar, click on "Floorplans."

This is the area for managing your floorplans. Here you can create, edit, and delete all kinds of floorplans for your company. But, first, click on "Create Floorplan."

In this window, you should configure the floor plan that will be created. It is possible to create two types of floor plans:

Map: Visualize the status of assets, locations, and receivers on an image of your facility. Card: Visualize the status of locations and assets through a card-based structure.

Fill in the floorplan's name, select the represented location or asset, and attach the image. The image will be uploaded to the platform and serve as the base for the icons. You can insert three types of icons into the floorplan: asset icons, location icons, and receiver icons.

Fundamental Concepts

For the calculation of automatic indicators available on the platform, the following definitions are considered:

Failure: Work Order assigned to the Corrective category or any other specific category defined by the administrator beforehand, which should be included in the calculation of indicators.

Report Period: The period defined by the client at the top of the Reports tab.

Total Period: It is the total operational period of the asset within the Report Period (considering each day as 24 hours of operation). In most cases, the Total Period will be the same as the Report Period, varying only if the asset was created after the start of the Report Period. For example, if the asset was created on February 15th, and the Report Period is from February 1st to February 30th, for calculation purposes, only the interval between February 15th and February 30th (equivalent to 15 days) will be considered as the Total Period. On the other hand, if the asset was created in January, for instance, the Total Period would be the same as the Report Period, i.e., from February 1st to February 30th.

On the platform, you can fill out the Datasheet when registering an asset or edit data for another that has already been registered.

Accessing the datasheet through asset registration

During the registration of an asset (Assets > Add Asset), the datasheet can be accessed by clicking the "Edit Datasheet" option.

The information for the datasheet is located in the "Status" tab, below the asset's photo.

Always check if there is any pending information for your asset.

To edit the sheet, click on the edit symbol below the asset's photo.

Required information for the Datasheet

Enter the basic operational information for the asset, such as rotation speed, power, and operating window.

Enter the rotation and power data and click "Add" to define the asset's operating window.

Define the operating days of the asset and its activity periods.

The operating window will be used to generate downtime alerts (asset stopped), so it is important to fill it out as accurately as possible.
