Configure notifications

Customizing notifications on the Tractian platform allows you to receive only the most relevant information, whether by email or through the app. Follow this step-by-step guide to adjust your notification preferences.


Accessing notification settings

  1. Log in to the platform with your credentials.

  2. In the upper right corner of the screen, click on your name.

  3. Select the “Settings” option.

  4. In the side menu, click on “Profile”, then “Notifications”.


Customizing notifications

On the Notifications screen, you can:

  • Choose which types of notifications you want to receive.

  • Decide whether to receive them by email, app, or both.


How to enable or disable notifications

  1. Locate the type of notification you want to adjust.

  2. Check or uncheck the email and/or app options according to your preference.

  3. Once the changes are made, click “Save” at the bottom of the page.


Notification types

  • Insights
    Notifications about new insights generated for your asset.

  • Work Orders
    Notifications about work orders assigned to you.

  • Requests
    Notifications about requests assigned to you and the approval/rejection of your requests.

  • Metrics
    Notifications about metrics assigned to you with pending readings.

  • Inventory
    Notifications related to inventory control, reservations, and purchases.

  • Mentions
    Notifications when you are mentioned in comments.

  • Comments
    Notifications about new comments on pages where you have been tagged.

  • Inspections
    Alerts for completed inspections and identified failures.

  • Events
    Notifications related to unresolved failure events.

  • Others
    Additional notifications, such as platform announcements and updates.
