When the Tractian app is offline (without internet connection), a warning will appear at the top of the screen. Even so, you can continue using the app for various maintenance tasks.
Features available offline
Assets:
Access detailed information by scanning the QR Code or searching for the asset by name;
View history, images, PDF files, and other recorded data.
Work Orders:
Start, pause, or complete a work order;
Change the activity status;
Add comments, photos, and files;
Start and stop the execution timer.
Requests:
Submit a new request by filling in the required information;
Link to an asset via QR Code;
Attach images and files.
Procedures:
View procedures previously saved in the app.
Calendar:
See all work orders assigned to you.
As soon as the device reconnects (Wi-Fi or 3G/4G), all offline data will be automatically synced to the platform.
Offline Work Orders
You can manage work orders even when offline:
View details: Including linked assets, current status, and history;
Change status: For example, “In Progress,” “On Hold,” or “Done”;
Start timer: Record execution time;
Add comments: Include notes about the activity’s progress;
Attach files: Take or upload photos and documents from your gallery.
All offline actions will sync automatically when the connection is restored.
How to Submit a Maintenance Request Offline
You can create a maintenance request without internet:
Go to the “Requests” tab;
Tap “Add”;
Fill in required fields (description, type, priority, etc.);
Scan the asset’s QR Code or search manually;
Attach images or documents if needed;
Save.
The request will be stored locally and sent once the device reconnects.
View Assets, Procedures, and Calendar Offline
The Tractian app lets you access essential information offline:

Use search or QR Code to access the asset profile;
Review history, specs, parts, images, and attached files.
Procedures:
View linked technical procedures even without internet.
Calendar:
Check all assigned work orders and plan your schedule.
