Opening the Spectrum Chart
Access Analytics and select the asset you want to analyze;
In the chart, select the desired vibration signal (for example: RMS Velocity);
Click on a point of chart;
The spectrum chart will load automatically.
Important note: this feature is only available for vibration signals.
Trend Chart
Comparing Multiple Samples (same asset)
Right-click on up to three different points on the trend curve;
Each point will be highlighted with a colored vertical line.
Selecting the Trend Time Interval
At the bottom of the chart, you can adjust the interval of the trend curve to make it easier to select samples:
7D – Last 7 days
30D – Last 30 days
3M – Last 3 months
6M – Last 6 months
Custom – Manually select dates
To use the custom interval:
Click on Custom;
Choose the start and end date in the calendar;
Click "Apply."
The trend curve will be updated according to the selected period.
Adding a New Trend and Selecting the Vibration Axis
In addition to selecting samples in the trend chart, you can also add a new trend to analyze in the spectrum and define the corresponding vibration axis.
In the bottom right corner of the chart, click "Add Trend";
Choose the magnitude you want to view:
Velocity → RMS Velocity, Zero-to-Peak Velocity, Peak-to-Peak Velocity, Velocity Crest Factor.
Acceleration → RMS Acceleration, Zero-to-Peak Acceleration, Peak-to-Peak Acceleration, Acceleration Crest Factor.
Next to it, select the vibration axis:
The spectrum chart will automatically update according to the selected trend and axis.
Moving a Sample Point Directly in the Spectrum
After opening the spectrum, it is also possible to move the selected point directly in the chart, without going back to the trend chart:
Position the cursor over the sample point;
Left-click and drag to the left or right;
The spectrum will automatically update based on the new sample;
The line in the trend curve will reposition to reflect the new point.
This movement allows you to quickly navigate between nearby samples without leaving the spectrum screen.
