Setting up Omni Trac and its devices on the platform

1. Accessing the Omni Trac settings section

  1. In the platform’s menu, click "Settings";

  2. Go to Monitoring, then Sensors;

  3. A panel will display all Omni Tracs registered in the company:

    • If a name is defined, it will be shown along with the ID;

    • If no name is defined, only the ID will be displayed.


2. Viewing an existing Omni Trac

  1. Click an Omni Trac in the panel to open its page;

  2. The screen will display the following information:

    • Name and installation location

    • Responsible users

    • List of connected devices (with individual status)

    • Metrics associated with each device

    • Internet and Wi-Fi connection data, if applicable

Status indicator legend:

  • Green: sensor online and communicating with devices

  • Red: sensor offline

  • Orange: at least one communication failure


3. Adding metrics to the device

  1. Access the Metrics section;

  2. Click “+” to open the register form;

  3. In the form:

    • The Device field will already be automatically filled in;

    • Define the following fields:

      • Metric name

      • Unit (e.g., °C, RPM, %)

      • Collection interval (e.g., 5 min, 10 min)

      • Location (asset or monitored part)

Click "Save" to register the metric.
