The work order is the main tool for effective maintenance planning and control.
To create a new work order, access the “Work Orders” tab in the platform's main menu and select the “Add” option.
Important Note: It is essential to fill in all fields to ensure your work order is complete and detailed. This guarantees that everyone involved can understand and execute it as intended.
Filling Out a Work Order
The first field, "What needs to be done," is mandatory. Below it, you can attach photos or files related to the work order.
The following fields include:
Description: A detailed explanation of what needs to be done;
Location or Asset: Where the service will take place;
Assignees: People or teams responsible for executing the work order;
Priority: The urgency level for execution;
Categories: Specifies the type of service the work order falls under. Here, you can identify whether it is electrical corrective maintenance, lubrication, preventive maintenance, external services, etc.;
Planned Start Date: When the work order should begin;
Due Date: Final date for completing the work order. You can also add a reminder to be notified at a pre-determined time regarding the order;
Tags: Use a word or number to make it easier to locate this work order;
Planning Status: Define the progress status, such as "Waiting for Planning", "Planned", "Scheduled", or "No Planning";
Associated Work Orders and Requests: If another work order or request related to this service has been generated, use this field to improve tracking.
