Maintenance plans are automatically generated by work orders that are scheduled to occur throughout the 52 weeks of the maintenance exercise.
In the main menu of the platform, select the "Plans" tab. Then, to create a maintenance plan, select "Add Plan" and fill in the necessary fields.
You must fill in what needs to be done in this maintenance plan. Other fields include:
Trigger, by calendar or metric;
Repetition;
Description;
Location or Asset;
Work orders, to assign multiple Work Orders to a single Plan.
Trigger: Calendar or Metric
After creating the plan and entering what needs to be done, you need to define the trigger. Here you choose whether it will be based on a Calendar, defining a repetition by dates and periods, or on metrics created in the platform:
Calendar:
Metric: (defined according to metrics and automations created in the metrics tab)
Repetition
When defining the plan with a Calendar trigger, you will set its repetition.
You can define it with daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and custom repetition.
Daily: repeats every day at a fixed time.
Weekly: you can define how many weeks it will be released, in addition to the days of the week and times of plan release.
Monthly: defines the monthly interval, which day of the month needs to be opened, in
addition to the release time of the work order.
Yearly: defines the annual interval, which day of the year needs to be opened, in addition to the release time of the work order.
Custom: defines and customizes the plan's repetition.
You can also set an expiration date for the plan. If this information is not provided, the plan will have a 24-hour deadline.
When creating the plan, you can also enable a reminder to notify the person who created it that the maintenance plan will start.
Location or Asset
When creating the plan, you define a location and asset. At this point, it is important to note that they will only serve as a filter for the calendar view. The location and asset you enter in the work order will be used in your indicators.
The information contained in the created plan will not be available to the executing technician. The technician will only have access to the work orders.
Work Order
It is not necessary to create a plan for each asset on the route. Each work order within the plan will be generated individually in the platform, allowing you to measure individual indicators for each activity.
To add multiple work orders to a plan, such as 1 mechanical work order and 1 electrical work order for the same asset in this plan, you just need to click on "Add Work Order".
From there, a window will open to create the new work order.
In it, you define the procedures, materials, assets, and responsible parties for a mechanical maintenance by selecting the work order category as mechanical, and save it.
From there, you can add a second work order with the Electrical category, for example:
This way, you can insert as many work orders as you want in this plan, and they will be opened with the same periodicity, but for different people or teams.
In addition, based on the categories entered, they will be included in the indicators and reports separately.
Advance or Pause a Plan
When saving the created plan, you need to select whether it will be active or paused. It is also possible to advance it if necessary.
When you decide to advance a plan, the work order will be released as if the plan were running under normal circumstances. In this case, the plan "pulls" the next execution. The next plan to be executed is not affected by the advancement, meaning the work order will only be generated when the repetition defined in the plan is reached.
When the plan is paused, no work orders will be generated.
