Configure Consumer Groups and energy contracts

Updated this week

The Consumer Groups section allows you to register electricity supply contracts, set tariff schedules, and configure alerts for consumption or demand limits.

This setup is essential to receive insights and alerts on deviations in energy usage across your facilities.

How to access

  1. In the side menu, go to Settings

  2. Expand the Monitoring section

  3. Click on Consumer Groups

Creating a new Consumer Group

Click the blue “Add Consumer Group” button in the upper right corner.

Fill out the following fields:

  • Consumer Group Name.

  • Locations: select the sites that share the same energy contract.

  • General Meters: link the assets that consolidate energy consumption readings.

Adding contracts

Each group can contain one or more contracts. To add a new one:

  1. Click on "Add Contract."

  2. Enter the contract period (start and end month).

  3. Define time-based tariff rates:

    • Peak

You can configure time slots separately for weekdays, Saturdays, and holidays by clicking “Add interval” in each row.

Tariffs and contracted limits

  • Tariff values ($/kWh or $/kW) for each time category:

    • Peak

    • Mid-Peak

    • Off-Peak

You can also enable alerts to be notified when consumption or demand exceeds contractual limits.

To upload:

  • Click on “Attach or drag files and photos”, or simply drag the file directly into the blue area.

Viewing the registered group

Once saved, the group will appear in the left-hand list. Selecting it displays:
