Approving or rejecting Requests

Updated this week

The PCM can approve or reject a maintenance request based on the submitted information. This can be done from different views within the Requests tab on the Tractian platform.

Accessing Requests

From the side menu, go to the Requests tab.

You’ll see all created requests and can analyze them using different view modes: Panel, Table, or Kanban.

Reviewing via Panel

  • Locate the request you want to review;

  • Click the Approve or Reject icons as needed.

  • The action will be applied immediately upon confirmation.

Reviewing via Table

  • Find and click the request you want to review;

  • Choose either Approve or Reject.

Reviewing via Kanban

  • Go to the Pending column and click the desired request;

  • Click Approve or Reject.

What happens after Approval

When you approve a maintenance request:

  • It is automatically converted into a Work Order (WO).

  • A new window will appear to fill in the WO details, such as:

    • Description

    • Responsible individuals

    • Procedures

    • Inventory items

All required fields must be completed for the WO to be created properly.

What happens after Rejection

When a request is rejected:

  • You can include a reason for the rejection, which will be recorded and visible to the requester.

  • No WO will be generated from a rejected request.
