Analyze the status and health of Assets

Learn how to analyze the health of your Assets based on their status and information charts.

Updated over 6 months ago

Status

Click on “Status” in the top menu of your platform. In this section, you have access to all the information on the operational quality of your assets. To see detailed information on a specific asset, simply click on it.

Health Level

At the top of the Status section, there are 7 indicators. They represent the health of the equipment, according to:

  • Mounting;

  • Balancing;

  • Alignment;

  • Vibration;

  • Temperature;

  • Rotative Looseness;

  • Lubrication.

The statuses can vary between Unacceptable, Unsatisfactory, Satisfactory and Good.

The average quality of each of these indicators indicates the health of your asset, which can be analyzed using the “Health Level” chart. The average used to determine the level of health of your asset is not a simple average. Each indicator has its own weight to determine the result.

Charts

In the status tab, you can also consult informative charts about your asset, which show:

  • Vibration;

  • Hour meter;

  • Temperature.

Vibration chart

The vibration chart shows anomalies or irregularities in the vibrations of the equipment and its components. When we identify patterns that indicate symptoms of machine failure, its analysis allows us to check whether this irregular vibration is directly related to a defect in the equipment. The chart allows analysis in comparison with previous periods and similar equipment.

Hour meter chart

The hour meter chart on industrial machinery is essential for managing operation and maintenance. It records the machine's total running time, providing information for scheduling preventive maintenance, planning part replacements based on wear, and making it possible to evaluate performance over time. It is also useful for monitoring energy efficiency, recording machine usage for accounting and resource allocation purposes.

Temperature chart

The temperature chart provides a visual representation of temperature variations over time, and enables early identification of operational problems, failure prevention and asset quality assurance. It also helps optimize energy efficiency, ensures regulatory compliance in regulated sectors and contributes to operational safety by avoiding extreme temperature conditions. The chart also makes it possible to analyze patterns to optimize preventive maintenance processes.

Operation History

At the bottom of your asset's status page, you'll see the history for that specific asset, which shows its status over time.

Assets with energy sensor

For assets with the Energy Trac energy sensor, you will have access to the following information, provided in charts:

  • Demand;

  • Consumption;

  • Hour Meter;

  • Power Factor.

In the same way, these indicators can display statuses Unacceptable, Unsatisfactory, Satisfactory and Good.

Demand chart

The energy demand chart provides a visual representation of variations in demand over time, allowing peaks and usage patterns to be identified. This chart offers the possibility of forecasting and planning, allowing adjustments to be made to the infrastructure to meet peak demands. By anticipating these peaks, it is possible to optimize capacity, avoid overloads and reduce costs associated with energy supply.

Consumption chart

The energy consumption chart provides an analysis of variations in consumption over time, allowing usage patterns to be identified. The chart also makes it possible to anticipate and optimize consumption, since it provides a forecast based on historical patterns. This makes it possible to implement proactive measures to reduce costs, improve energy efficiency and contribute to sustainable practices.

Hour Meter chart

The hour meter chart enables operation and maintenance management. It records the equipment's total operating time, providing information for scheduling preventive maintenance, planning equipment replacements based on wear and tear, and making it possible to evaluate performance over time. It is also useful for monitoring energy efficiency, recording equipment usage for accounting and resource allocation purposes.

Power Factor chart

The power factor chart provides a representation of variations in the power factor over time, allowing you to identify moments of low efficiency. This chart ensures that energy is used more efficiently, avoiding penalties for low power factors. By monitoring and adjusting the power factor, it is possible to optimize energy use, reducing costs and improving operational efficiency.
