Receiver Management

Updated this week

The Tractian platform allows you to manage your receivers, ensuring that you have a comprehensive view of each one’s activity. You can check data such as Signal Strength, Connectivity, and Connected Sensors.

Accessing Receiver Management

  1. Go to the “Settings” tab on the platform;

  2. Click on “Monitoring” in the left-hand sidebar;

  3. Then, click on “Receivers”.

You will see a table showing all your receivers, divided into General and Offline.

Receiver Table

At the top of the table, you can search for a specific receiver if you are looking for its data.

On the side, you can filter receivers by signal strength: Good, Medium, Poor, or Offline.

General

The general receiver table has 7 columns:

  • Device ID: the identification code or name of your receiver.

  • Version: the receiver version (Pro, Ex, Standard).

  • Status: whether your receiver is Online or Offline. You can view only Offline receivers by applying the filter or switching to the Offline tab.

  • Signal Strength: check whether your receiver’s signal is Good, Medium, Poor, or Offline.

  • Connectivity: the connectivity mode of your receiver, either mobile network or Wi-Fi.

  • Last Connection: the date and time when the receiver last communicated with our servers.

  • Connected Sensors: the number of sensors connected to that receiver.

Offline

The offline receiver table has 6 columns:

  • Device ID: the identification code or name of your receiver.

  • Version: the receiver version (Pro, Ultra, Ex, Standard).

  • Status: always Offline.

  • Signal Strength: always Offline.

  • Connectivity: since the receiver is offline, this field is never filled.

  • Last Connection: the date and time when the receiver was last online.
