Sensor Management

Updated this week

The Sensors section allows you to view and manage all sensors registered in your operation. This interface is focused on the technical management of devices, providing essential information about connectivity, signal strength, asset linkage, and sensor status.

Access

  1. In the left-side menu, click on Settings.

  2. Expand the Monitoring group.

  3. Select Sensors.

Sensor information

The page displays a table with all registered sensors. Each row represents a sensor, with the following columns:

Column

Description

Device ID

Sensor identifier. Click to view detailed information.

Version

Sensor model (e.g., Ultra Ex).

Connectivity

Indicates whether the sensor is online, offline, or not installed.

Signal Strength

Communication quality with the receiver (High, Medium, Low).

Receiver

ID of the receiver currently connected to the sensor.

Asset

Asset to which the sensor is assigned.

Location

Physical location of the asset within the plant.

Last Connection

Date and time of the sensor's last communication with the system.

Use the search bar to quickly find a sensor by its ID.

Status tabs

At the top of the screen, four filter tabs help you segment sensors by status:

Online

Sensors that are functioning properly and sending data.

Offline

Sensors that are no longer communicating with the system.
Possible causes: weak signal, out-of-range receiver, low battery, installation issue.

Not Installed

Sensors that are registered but not yet linked to any asset.

Replacement

Sensors marked for replacement.

Sensor detail view

Clicking a sensor ID opens a side panel with detailed information:

  • Linked location and asset

  • Connectivity and last connection

  • Connected receiver

  • Signal strength chart (last 7 days)

  • History of previously connected receivers

This data helps diagnose issues and evaluate signal coverage.
