Registering and entering identified failures
Updated over a week ago

To guarantee the reliability and efficiency of your assets, it is essential to identify and manage failures effectively. Here's how to manage failures identified on the TRACTIAN platform.

Registering and managing failures

To register and manage new failures, simply access the settings by clicking on its icon in the top right corner of the platform.

Select the Reliability option and then the failures section.

In the failures section, you can:

  • Manage failures

  • Enable or disable "Multiple failures Identified", where you can allow or disallow the addition of multiple failures to forms.

  • Enable or disable "Mandatory completion for correctives", where you decide if Service Orders and Corrective Requests cannot be created without adding a failure.

Managing failures

The table of identified failures is divided into standard failures and custom failures.

Standard failures

These are the failures pre-established by TRACTIAN, which are the most common among assets, such as unbalance.

It is not possible to delete, but it is possible to disable standard failures by clicking on the selector next to the failure name.

Deactivation does not affect existing Work Orders, Requests or Insights.

Custom failures

Custom failures are those you create yourself. To register a new failure:

  1. Click on "Add";

  2. Define the failure and select the types of equipment and components;

  3. Customize as required.

Custom failures can be deleted by clicking on the trash can next to them.

However, you need to pay attention to a few key points:

  1. Make sure that the failure is not associated with any Work Order, Request or Insight before deleting.

  2. failures deleted in approved or rejected Requests will appear as deleted, but with details visible.

Adding identified failures to a Work Order

In the "Work Orders" tab:

  1. Select the desired order and scroll down to the "Identified failures" section;

  2. Click on "+ Add";

  3. Choose the failure(s) identified in the execution of the activity;

  4. Save the information.

If no failures are added, the "Identified failures" section will not appear.
