When using the app in offline mode, all actions taken will sync with the platform once the connection is restored. During this sync, information conflicts may occur, especially if other users are working on the same task or work order simultaneously.
Sync Status Types
Saving offline updates: synchronization in progress.
Updates saved: all changes have been successfully synced.
Updates saved, but conflicts detected: discrepancies were found between offline and system data.
Updates saved, but errors detected: issues prevented full synchronization.
Conflict notification in the App
Conflicts are flagged at the top of the interface. Only the PCM (Maintenance Planner) can resolve them and will be notified to review, fix, and confirm the correct data.
Best Practices to avoid conflicts
Avoid using the same account offline on multiple devices.
Do not use the app offline if another device is online.
Don’t start timers offline if there are active ones online.
Limit extended offline periods.
Don’t close or delete a work order being used by another team member.
Avoid working offline on the same task or request as others.
Always sync before replicating offline actions on another device.
What to do when a conflict is detected
Once notified, the PCM must access the notification on the platform and resolve the conflict manually by reviewing and validating the correct version of the data.
