Executing a Work Order
Updated over a month ago

Executing an Order on the TRACTIAN platform is quick and easy, especially since the technician can register it easily from their own mobile device, automatically recording the fulfillment of their Activities.

Timing Activities

Within the work order, the timing of activities is intuitive. The time starts to be counted as soon as the technician has access to it, with options to pause or discard the count as necessary.

Summary and Work Logs

After finishing an activity, a summary is generated, allowing descriptions, files or photos to be added. Once the last technician saves their work log, the activity becomes uneditable for technicians.

Work Log Stopwatch

To start timing an Activity:

  1. Enter the work order;

  2. Click on "Start stopwatch" in the activity for which you are responsible.

The time will start counting, and you will have the option of pausing or discarding the timer.

If you have to pause the activity, the information will be saved. You can return to the activity later without losing progress.

If you need to cancel an active timer, click on the trash can in the top right-hand corner. Remember that this action cannot be undone.

If you have more than one activity to perform, when you finish carrying out the current activity, you have the option of saving the timed time and being automatically redirected to the next activity with the timer already active, ensuring more agility in carrying out all the activities assigned to you.

Adding external work logs

Appointments made outside the platform can be added later, specifying the period or the hours and minutes, the category, the cost per hour and other relevant details.

Viewing work logs

The work order offers a complete view of the work log:

  • Estimated Hours: Sum of all activity estimates.

  • Scheduled Hours: Sum of all schedule durations multiplied by the number of assigned users.

  • Logged Hours: Sum of all durations appointed by stopwatch and manual appointments.

  • Total Cost: Sum of the costs of the hours clocked.

Counting hours via work logs guarantees control of the hours dedicated to each activity, centralizing the process and consolidating all the information in a single place.
