Floorplan Setup

Updated over 2 months ago

Floorplans allow you to visually and intuitively monitor multiple assets. They support visual management and help all team members quickly understand the operational status. On the platform, you can create Map or Card type floorplans by adding assets, locations, and gateways for a complete view.

Accessing the Floorplans Area

  • On the top bar of the platform, click on Floorplan.

  • You’ll be directed to the floorplan management area.

  • Click the "+" icon next to Floorplans on the left-hand sidebar.

Creating a Floorplan

  1. Choose a layout for the floorplan:

    • Map: Displays the status of assets, locations, and gateways over a background image of the plant.

    • Card: Shows the status using cards organized by location or equipment.

  2. Enter a name for the floorplan.

  3. Select the location or asset to be represented.

  4. (For Map type) Upload an image to serve as the visualization background.

  5. Click Save.

Adding elements to the Map

Asset Icons

  1. In the asset tree on the left, click the desired asset.

  2. Then click “Asset”.

  3. An icon will appear on the map — drag it to the correct position.

  4. Edit the icon to match the asset model if needed.

Location Icons

  1. In the asset tree, click the desired location.

  2. Click “Location Marker Icon”.

  3. Click on the map to draw the area or define a point.

  4. (Optional): Link the location to another floorplan or an external URL.

Gateway Icons

  1. Click the location where the receiver is installed.

  2. Click “Receiver”.

  3. Select the receiver from the list.

  4. Position the icon on the map.

Setting Up Floorplan Transitions

Transitions allow the system to automatically switch between different floorplans in sequence — ideal for fixed-display monitors.

  1. Click the “+” next to Transitions.

  2. Enter a name for the transition.

  3. Select the floorplans to include in the sequence.

  4. Define the display time for each one.
