To categorize your assets by criticality, click on your profile in the top right corner of the screen. Then, go to Settings > Criticality.
Select "Add Criticality" and give a name to the category you want to assign to your assets, whether critical or non-critical. We suggest using the nomenclature A, B, C, and you can further segment it into A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2, etc., with A1 being the highest criticality.
In the "Description" field, provide some information that explains the criticality you are creating and give examples of assets that should be included in that category.
In the "Assets" field, select the machines that belong to that group.
In the "Configuration and Sensitivity of Insights" section, choose the sensitivity level relative to the assets in that group that you are categorizing. The sensitivity level of the equipment should take into account both the criticality of the item to the operation and the team's need to know what is happening with that machine at all times
The more sensitive the asset is, the lower the tolerance for automatic anomaly detection and the higher the number of insights you will receive about that machine.

To learn how to categorize your assets by identifying their correct criticality, refer to the diagram below, which relates the probability of failure to the impact that a stopped or broken asset will have on the operation:

With the operation's criticality matrix properly configured on the platform, you will be able to filter components from other areas of the platform according to their criticality. For example, in the Assets tab, simply click on "Criticality" in the filters and select the desired one(s).
You can also classify the insights according to their criticality, allowing you to view the most relevant ones first. Just go to Overview > Insights > Sort by > Criticality > Alphabetical Order (A-Z).
Insights are also automatically grouped by criticality for easier visualization.
