Asset Status Change Logic Based on Insights
Updated over a week ago

The asset status is updated according to the severity of detected Insights, following a priority order:

  1. Offline: If no sensor data has been received for more than 5 hours, the asset enters this status. This may indicate communication failure or connectivity loss, for example.

  2. Stopped: If the asset is stopped, regardless of any generated Insights, it will be classified as Stopped.

  3. Alarming: The asset receives this status when at least one Insight indicates a critical issue that requires immediate attention. This occurs in the following cases:

    • Pending Insight: A failure has been detected but has not yet been analyzed.

    • Unresolved Failure - High Criticality: An Insight has been marked as a severe failure and has not yet been fixed.

  4. Warning: Indicates that the asset presents potential failures or anomalies that should be monitored, but without an immediate risk. This status is triggered when:

    • Insight In Inspection: The issue is under review, awaiting validation.

    • Potential Failure: An Insight indicates a possible defect, but it is not yet confirmed as critical.

    • Unresolved Failure - Low or Medium Criticality: An Insight has been marked as a medium or low criticality failure and has not yet been fixed.

  5. Operating: The asset remains Operating when there are no pending Insights or recorded failures with significant impact. This means the equipment is operational and functioning normally.
